Tavier Wasser for Island County Sheriff
Island County is a peaceful place, but we can’t afford to fall asleep at the wheel. One crisis event can isolate or endanger our community. When things happen, we need leadership that knows how to step up, engage, and keep residents informed of what’s happening - so we can all be safe.
“I served my country, and returned home to protect the community that protected me.”
- Tavier Wasser

From his current position as Chief of Police, to his time protecting President Barack Obama and his assets aboard Marine One, Wasser has dedicated his life to providing safety and security across the globe in service of our country. During his time as Chief of Police, Wasser has led a new era of accountability and community access to his office. As sheriff, he will look to increase the public’s support of the office, and ensure residents can have better access to information and education.
